Studio for a printer.

Full design, fabrication and install of furniture for artist and printmaker Ines Fernandez de Cordova in her studio in Peckham.

Care was taken to maintain a sensible workflow arrangement while going through the motions of the etching process. A simple fold down table was designed to offer a bit more working area when needed but not take up valuable space. A powder coated steel frame forms the main structure, more than capable of holding up to the rigours of daily work and is finished off with plywood draws and worktops protected by 3 layers of heavy duty floor varnish to withstand as much wear and tear and ink as possible.

One of the main concerns was making sure the large tables could make it to the studio on the 4th floor. All the furniture can be disassembled to fit in a small lift or be carried up the stairs by one or two people.
